Singapore has been a Republic since Aug 9 1965 and does not have the Queen of England on it coinage at least from that date to the present. Coins from the Crown Colony 1946 to 1963 as well as when it was part of the Straits Settlements in the 1800's. The person that has been there is mistaken. Coins are made of copper, bronze, aluminum, copper-nickel, there are some silver dollars 1975-1984, small gold dollars 1983-84, and a whole lot of commemorative type coins in gold and silver in denominations of $2,$5,$10,$20,$25,$50 and higher and started in the 1970's till today. With out knowing just what denominations you have and their dates that is the best I can do. Hope it helps some. As for the paper money I see none issued since 1963 that has the Queen Of the U.K. on them

Coins from Singapore are printed in English as is their paper Dollars. All have a picture of Queen Elizabeth on them. Each bill is a different color for each denomination . That is becauce at one time it was a British Crown Colony. When I war there on 2004 One of our dollars was woth about $1.75 of theirs. My hotel bill at the Pennsula hotel for one week was about $250.00 of their money. It is a very clean City it is2 degrees above the Equator, days and nights are each 12 hours long. I rains amlost every night and knows as "The Orchid City" I had fresh ones in my room every day I was there
