Several types appeal to me- all have strong, passionate vocals, and somethign to say, set to different musical backgrounds. Mexican folk, southern gospel, live jazz and blues, classic country, punk, Celtic, art rock, Appalachian folk, zydeco, and cutting edge. Just to name a few! I love good music, but what I like is not necessarily either mainstream or classifiable.

Country... I gave up on almost all POP back in about 1992.
I guess I'm old, but I just can't stomach any of the rap or hip-hop

One genre? Too hard for me. I prefer progressive/art rock, psychedelic, blues and New Age/ambient.
