Last thursday I received an email from eBay stating that my account was suspended because of association with a suspended user. I have no idea who this user is and I have never allowed any one access to my eBay account. This is through eBay Motors which I have never ever purchased anything from. I have had this account since the late 90's with 150+ positive feedback. eBay tells me that they cannot discuss specifics of their investigation. I have tried to tell them that they have the wrong person however I get vague emails from them stating that my account will remain closed. Has anyone else had this type of experience with eBay?

Wrongful suspension from eBay?

This is not from a fake email as I have logged into my eBay account and it tells me that they are sorry to inform me that my account has been suspended.......

this message may not be from ebay...go to your usual ebay logon page and see if in fact you are suspended. the message you received may just be someone phishing for your account info.

if e-bay didn't call you by name in the suspension e-mail then its probably a scam letter.
