I have done it several times. Every time I was laughing so hard that I woke up.
My boyfriend has done it twice just recently.
You were having a funny dream. It is not strange.
When people have a scary dream - they scream . . .
When people fall in their sleep - they jump . . .
When something is funny - they laugh!!!

It's fairly normal. I have done it a number of times. But, usually when people laugh in their sleep it is softer than their normal laugh. So, your experience might be a little bit more unique!

Yes. I, and other folks I have slept in the same room with, laugh, cry, scream , but most often talk. It is about the dreams. When you are sleepng the mind gets rid of the built-up gunk in your brain. If it didn't do that, you'd go insane. This happens during REM sleep.

It's normal. I talk in my sleep. Sometimes I sit up and talk in my sleep. My parents' dogs run in their sleep. They are laying down but their paws move like they're running. Sometimes they whine or whimper in their sleep too.
So not only is it normal for YOU to laugh when you're asleep but "acting out" dreams is something that other animals do too!

haha, that's really funny =))
i talk in my sleep, walk in my sleep, and laugh/giggle in my sleep..
how do i know?
ever since i was little, my friends and fam. have been yelling at me for doing it...
it's not weird, but just normal..especially if your like a really loud, talkative person in real life, (in my opinion...) because i think, that in your dream, you are usually thinking about what you would do in real life, so if you would normally talk to that person, or something in real life, you would do it in your sleep, because your un-aware that your sleeping..but your deff. not weird hun, because if your weird, than so is half the population of the world...lolz, chill, have fun, live life to the fullest...
peace,

not weird. you were apparently having a funny dream. Ever though you are asleep, you can have emotions and reactions from your dreams.
My husband talks to me sometimes when he is asleep. He is just dreaming. Its funny.

something comparable became taking place to me for a whilst. I saved waking up in the direction of the nighttime, (i became asleep yet my eyes have been open) and for some reason i could think of I observed something in my room and scream and wake myself up. at times i could even fall off the mattress or initiate working around the room, and whilst i found out I under no circumstances could desire to keep in mind what it became that i assumed I observed or that scared me. i'm uncertain how I have been given over it, yet i could advise doing something relaxing before you flow to mattress and making valuable your slumbering section is as snug as available.

No it's not weird at all sometimes when we have dreams it's like we're actually there. I say this because my husband has woken me up because I was actually crying now that's weird!
