the radeon 7000 is the oldest of the radeon series of cards.
its a basic graphics card,ok for most office and internet applications, and better than some onboard graphics chips
the radeon 7000 has pixel and shader model 1.1,this is the lowest shader model ,it also has t+l(transform and lighting),this card is basically a product of the direct x 8 era
may i suggest a decent upgrade, fairly inexpensive, the nvidia geforce 6200(http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=17312&CatId=2690),this is a good card, with (compared to radeon 7000)better clock and memory speeds, and also it has pixel and shader model 3.0,good enough for most modern games, just not at very high resolutions
i reckon at less than £40 this is a solid performer, and a sound investment
any more advice let me know
good luck mate

I have a Radeon 9800PRO and I don't think that does pixel shading 2.0. So, no.

I doubt it very much, its a old basic card designed for DirectX8, I have a few here, the graphics on them is good for office use, on games, they simply cant cut anything.
