What are the old fallout shelters used for now? Are they still bomb proof?

I live in the midwest part of the US and the "air raid" sirens are also used as tornado sirens. They are still used. In fact, they're tested once a month (first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am).

They are used in the Midwest and southern states for tornado warnings. When they go off during a storm, people know to take cover immediately. I imagine if anyone has a fallout shelter, they may use it if they have tornadoes in their area.

Yes they are still used to warn people about Tornados and to celebrate like when the White Sox won the Pennent.

uhh air raids sirens???

no. if anything will raid the air it is on the radio or news

like after the hurricane there was a large amount of bugs in texas. so they raided the air with bug repellant
