How long do you give a hit song before it is concidered old?

Depends on the song. Some songs get old quickly, and some songs are old before they even get played. On the other hand, some songs are classic and will never grow old.

A music that replaced right into a fulfillment formerly my mom replaced into born...nicely, she replaced into born in 1942, and the genuinely hit i study from that 12 months replaced into "do not sit down lower than The Apple Tree..." through the Andrews Sisters. Kinda bouncy, guess you should dance to it.

Music today is good in its own way but true rock never dies.I live in the music past.So newer songs are more old to me than the classic 70s!!

a decade? r u serious? a hit songs played at least 20times each day on the radio. for me its a month if i don't like the song much, and two if i do.

a few months today but the old songs never really get old. For example, "Smack that" by Akon is already old but the Beatle songs still aren't

if its a song i really like.. i keep it on my ipod for years.

but most music i find needs to be removed after a few months.. just so i can listen to newer stuff. im always trying to find the best indie music out there week after week.

but then my ipod only holds 320 songs.. so you see my dilemma.

I would say about a month and a half for me, but it doesn't start leaving the charts untill it's about two months old.
