Also, there's this music that keeps coming on my computer and I don't even have any windows open. What the hell is it?

Here is an excellent antivirus program free from AOL, Active Virus Shield, powered by Karpersky of Russia. Rated #1 in the world for virus detection.

You just give AOL, you email address and they will send you a free key good for one year. After the one year just request a new key. Don't have to be a member of AOL. I am not a member of AOL,, You will get updates every hour on the hours, plus an excellent background scanner that work very well in real time. Uses little or no resources.

Antivir, avast, are good, active, and free. Windows Defender is free, big, slow, and not as good at detecting.
Spybot, a2free, adaware, good and free.
Advice- Have one and only one active program. Have two or more installed so you can check and remove anything that slips past. You also must have a firewall.
Another concept is to load and test everything that comes into you computer in a separate section, like sandboxie, and others.

AVAST ANIVIRUS 4.7 free Home Edition & has removed well over a hundred Trojans or infected files. Now my Windows 2000 Pro PC is running great.
The program is easy to use & can scan while you are working on the computer.

Run the program, I think once you've cleaned the infected files the problem will cease.

Norton Antivirus is by far the best. Only downside, it costs money. You can look around for free ones but i'd suggest buying Norton because it will keep your computer clean, removing viruses and Spyware. I would suggest downloading Spybot Search and Destroy and remove all of your spyware. Next step would be to buy a router which is the best firewall you're gonna find, and go into your startup items by going to:
1. run
2. type in msconfig
3. click on startup items
4. search all of your startup items in google and see which are harmful and disable them

Overall, i'd suggest buying Norton

I use Panda and it has always worked well for me. They are now letting people try their mega-detection tools for free at www.Infected Or Not.com or http://www.nanoscan.com The web sites are part of their new campaign "Infected Or Not?".

There you can try their new products (Panda NanoScan and Panda TotalScan) for free and, in exchange, they collect statistics that are presented in the campaign's website to raise awareness on the malware infection problem.

You should try them, they have more virus definitions than anybody else and they detect all kinds of malware (viruses, trojans, worms, adware, spyware, hacking tools, etc.)
