You will find it easier to just reset the router and start clean. If you have all of the internet login information written down already, try the following steps for a full reset:

1. Do a hard reset (hold down the reset button for 30 seconds, pull the power cord for 1 minute, and
then plug it back in)
2. Login to your Linksys WCG200-cc router with the default login information. If you got this from Comcast, it would be something like this:
User id: comcast
password: 1234
3. Go back to the Wireless page and re-setup the WEP key and write it down.

I find that a sticker attached to the bottom of an access point/router that has the login, password, and WEP keys is all I need to keep things running smoothly. Beats losing a scrap of paper with info on it.

Well, to find the WEP key you will have to log into the router. I doubt you would understand it if i explained it with technological terms, so i'll try and shorten it. Basically, you need to do the following:

1. Go to your browser and type in 192.168.2.1
2. A box should come up asking to login
3. If you have a router login/pass use that, if not use the following:
Login: admin
Pass: admin
4. You should now be logged into your router and it should take you a linksys page.
5. Now click the headings and subheadings at the top and look for something mentioning WEP key, I don't remember exactly which tab it is but if you have problems tell me and I can look it up

If you have any questions tell me and I can tell you what is wrong.

You need to log into the routers configuration settings, which you should know how to do if the router is yours or if you just read the install guide for the router, and find the wireless security section. It will either show you what the key is or some routers XXXXX them out. If its XXXXX out then just type in a new one that you know.
