Is this a real event or a hypothetical question?

Obviously prior to the emails, you two never actually knew each other!!!!

I would say it's about time you and this person sat down and had a real talk, as in face-to-face. This is a good time to remember that there is more to a person than what you perceive at face value.

Don't shy away from the situation......make another connection to someone you never knew you could learn to like. We need a feeling of connectedness to survive happily. Humans are social creatures. Without a feeling of "belonging," there is a risk (albeit minor) of becoming another campus mass murderer.

Everyone is connected to the web of life. But you have to FEEL like you belong.

It would make my eye brow rise and think-
Is it possible that the reason i really didn't like this person is because I never really knew them. I judged a book by it's cover, without taking the time to open ones mind to read it. Or too much like one another other to even stop hating and actually realize it?
Now dealing with it- I would talk on line some more until safe for the both of us to actually engage a face to face conversation.
Some people can open up better on line then in person.

NOW HAVING POSTED THIS POSTING-
How many people do this sorta stuff on a daily bases?
Lots everyday, every hour, every minute!
It's called, Racism.
(We talk on line and some people hate, Black, White, Canada and States! Same thing right here.
When all along we all have something in common- WE LOVE THIS SITE AND CAN OPEN UP TO ONE ANOTHER. NOT CARING OF SKIN COLOUR OR COUNTRY!!!!!

Am I right or wrong? Just my thought on this posting, thank you.

I don't hate anyone, just their ways.

People who find hate in their hearts, must find forgiveness, so why bother hating in the first place. All you do is get yourself all torn up about something you can't change.

People, learn that others have opinions too. Learn to accept that fact, and if everyone did there would be a much better place to live. If you don't like other peoples ways should get away from the situation. It is much easier to get on with your life, than try to impose your thoughts and opinions on others.

My neighbors would be trying to write on the screen with wax crayons, thinking they were sending emails. It would also be very quiet while they were using their brain cell to figure out how to spell the tough words...it, the, at, etc. Yes, we really do hate each other with a passion!

I think that I'd figure out if I really hated them, after all. If i think they're pretty cool then I guess I'd try to rid of the hatred.
If I still hated them, I think it's time for the torch and pitchfork hour.

First off, why do you hate them with a passion? If its something stupid, then let it go. Life is way too short to have enemies. How did you find out it was your neighbor? does he/she have mutual feelings? Re-evaluate your relationship, then pursue friendship or continue hating.

I would no longer hate my neighbour with a passion, having gotten to know them better.

I'd apologize for however I felt before and form a real life friendship with them. :)

I'd wonder why I hate them so much..and then I'd stop the e-mail conversations. And then I would feel awkward.

Sounds like the film 'You've Got Mail'...
I think that I would reconsider my hating that person- that shows that I am capable of liking a small part of them :)

I would think of them differently... the real life person better, but the e-mailing friend worse.... and I would only be friends with them until there was osme reconciliation.
