1,000,000,000 numbers * (1 s/1 number) = 1 billion seconds

1,000,000,000 s * (1 hr/3600 s) = 277777.8 hr

277777.8 hr * (1 day/24 hr) = 11574.1 days

11574.1 days * (1 year/365 days) = 31.7 years

So...about 32 years (for counting to 1 billion)

Since 1 trillion is 1000 * 1 billion, it would take 1000 times as many years to count to 1 trillion as it does to count to 1 billion: 31710 years

It will take you like 32-33 years to count 1 number per second until a billion. You will die before you count to a trillion.

It will take a billion seconds, that's the easy part.

1,000,000,000 = 1 billion so just divide it by 60 for the minutes, then divide that by 60 for the hours and divide that by 24 for the hours. Giving you a result of 11574.07days, divide that by 365.25 for the years (the 0.25 accounts for leap years) and you get a result of 760.51 years. Which will be longer than you can live and it would take 30 generations of your family to finish the counting. So I wouldn't recommend trying it.

A billion is one followed by 9 zeros = 1 X 10^9
1x10^9 seconds/60 minutes /60 hours /365.25 days) = 760.51

In seconds= 1 billion seconds.
In minutes= 1 billion/60= 16666666.67 minutes.
In hours= 16666666.67/60= 277777.78 hours.
In days= 277777.78/24= 11574.074 days.
In months = 11574.074/30.4= 380.726 months.
In years = 380.726/12= 31.727 years.

In other words, you'd waste a large part of your life counting.
Hope this helps ;)
