I spent the first half of my life in western NY and the latter half in the south (NC). When I visit NY, they say I have a southern accent and when I talk to people in the south, they say I have no accent. So, who knows - I'm probably pretty neutral. I say some things with a bit of a southern accent...but it's not heavy by any means.

I have a very strong southern accent due in part to me exaggerating it out of fear of losing it. I live in a part of Texas where there are a lot of Yankees. And some members of my family still have a strong Chinese accent.

I'm from, and now living in South Africa, but people ask if I'm Canadian, Australian, British, or even Mexican or Spanish. Weird, I know, but I don't even sound like any of my family.
I've worked all over the world, so I think I may have picked up some accents from all over and now sound I sound different. Oh well....

Somewhat.
I grew up in SoCal with a Valley Girl/Surf Chick accent-- but I've given that up for just a regular West Coast accent.

(Although, when I am tired, the Surf Chick comes back out...) :)

Very much so --southern accent--one time I was in Tucson, Az. and I ran into this chick from NJ. She laughingly said you're from the Carolina's--I just know it and jokingly I responded "no, I'm from Boston". We both cracked up and I told her I couldn't understand her Jersey accent anymore than she could understand my southern accent.

Oh yes. A semi-heavy Texas accent, here. I was born, raised, and still live within the Heart of Texas.
