Anhedonia is a common symptom of schizophrenia and is often found in people suffering from sever depression. It is an inability to express emotion, the person lacks positive subjective feelings. People who experience anhedonia lose their interest in activities and relationships. Also, they may be unable to experience pleasure from physical sensations.

Anedonia is the loss of feeling pleasure from anything that would normally considered pleasurable. Linking as a leading cause of depression and also can cause loss of sex drive. People afflicted with anedonia are often viewed as 'blank slates'.
