Try another store or better yet try Target or other chain. The interviewer was concerned that you may be to timid to help a customer so try to be a little more bold and out going.

What matters most when interviewing for a job is self-confidence. If you have no confidence in your ability to do the job the interviewee will smell your timidness and quickly dismiss you.

I used to be nervous on job interviews until I read a couple of books on how to interview better; if you try that it will help with your confidence tremendously.

Through careful research you will also realize that you are the true resource here! The company needs you....not the other way around. It's not about arrogance, it's about attitude.

Again confidence rules! Confidence = Courage

And courage makes people unique. And that's what all employers look for...uniqueness! You have to know (own it!) that you are a valuable asset in any job interview.

To know that you are an asset means that you must know your strength's and weaknesses.

The most important factor in your job search is that you don't give up and that you walk tall. Only then will you prevail.

Send your application again... and do a mock interview with different people and let them tell you what they think.. Good Luck!
