You have to look at it this way. He married and made promises, and a committment. Even if he doesn't love her and
What makes you think he'll treat you any differently? I know he doesn't love her anymore..but that has nothing to do with respect. If he can fall out of love for her, he can fall out of love with you.
The worst thing is, you really can't expect to be treated any better by him than he's treating his wife.

Having been on the married end, I can honestly say it depends on the situation. I never cheated EVER, was married for several years, but then an ex whom I hadn't seen in 8 years (who also happened to be my first love) came back into my life at a time when my marriage was not at its best. Long story short, I am divorced now and back with my ex. I'm not saying it's right and I'm certainly not proud of it, but I can honestly say that if the old BF had never re-entered my life, I don't think I ever would have cheated. The only reason I did was because I had never really gotten over my ex. Having gone through what I did and knowing what I now know, I will NEVER cheat again. I can't speak for your situation though. Most likely though, I would consider him high risk for repeat offending. Sorry.

It depends if he finally done sowing his oats so to speak. The truth is, its a matter of being able to trust him once he "says" we are exclusive. Chances are he might not cheat...but then again you'll be thinking he is when he's out. So it's up to you...how do you want to live??? A) live with a man I love who might cheat and I'll think about it a lot..
B) Find a real man with some standard and respect for me as a great woman.
I know which one I'd pick!

You can try to convince yourself that you are special to him and he will not cheat on you because he's probably told you how unhappy he is and unsatisifed with his wife which is why he has you. But, ultimately, he has proven himself to be nontrustworthy and lacking any morality whatsoever. After he destroys this marriage and gets with you, and the excitement wears off, the excuses he uses to cheat on this wife will then be shifted to you and the cycle of deceipt will begin again. YOu will never be able to completely trust him will you.

Probably not. The chances of him actually leaving his wife and staying with you are slim.
But if he does stay with you then I think he is just as likely to cheat on you as he did with his wife.
Why are you seeing a married man anyway? Dont you feel dirty? You cant possibly feel loved, knowing he is going home to someoen else every night.

Well I can just about guarantee that IF he divorces his wife he is going to be dumping you soon. Men don't usually stay involved with the women they used (note the words USED) to cheat on their marriage once the divorce is final. They tend to want to become involved with women who have morals rather than Whores.
