Should I get an ouija board?

Question

I am 13 years old, and my friend and I want to get one. It sounds really cool and fun, and we want to see if it really works. We don't want to contact any spirits or ghosts or anything, we just want to ask it some questions. Do you think this is a bad idea? My friend's mom had fun with it, and she thinks it's a good idea.

If I got one, it would be at Toys R Us . . .

A simple OuiJa board can be made with slips of paper with letters on them and numbers if you wish, as well a two slips that say Yes and No. Arrange them in a circle on a smooth surface. Place an upside down glass in the middle of the circle and have those who wish to participate place a forefinger on the edge of the glasses bottom. Ask a question.

Remember, the glass and the slips have no power. Your hidden thoughts, needs, and sometimes devinations will start the glass moving for good or evil.

Try this before going out and spending money.

Wow....you don't want to contact any ghosts or spirits.....so what do you think you'll do with it? If you want to get the crap scared out of you then use one but be warned that once you open the door to the unknown it is hard make whatever comes through that door leave!!!!!!! Ouija boards are not fun little games like you think they are.

Never use one of these unless you wish to bring back a murdered or tortured person, an additional warning you may feel the pain it can come through you, this item is not a toy
you do not need an ouija board to contact spirits.

I used one a couple of times in my past when I was alive, now that I am in the spirit world to start with I used to be drawn to people using the Ouija board, it got a little boring, so now I spend most of my days browsing the spirit of the internet, replying to others peoples questions.

I can't say whether it's a bad idea for you and your friend but I can maybe give you some insights.

** You WILL be contacting spirits if you use this. They're drawn to it, and why could be a chicken-and-egg thing.

** Go ahead and ask it silly questions but don't believe what it says. Many of these spirits like to mask themselves as something else in order to play pranks. Remember you're entertaining them as they're entertaining you.

** Don't bother asking it it's name. It'll lie to you since there is great power in a name. Likewise I wouldn't really be shouting out my name or the names of my friends.

** When you're done, thank it politely and ask it to leave. Then announce to anything else hanging around that you are closing your circle and that they must find a new place to be. It's the "you don't have to go home but you can't stay here".

13 is full of natural curosity and that's not a bad thing. Be a little cautious and you'll be fine.

If you ask it questions, who to you think gives the answers. Ghosts or spirits. Best you learn more about this thing before you buy it, and take heed of the warnings you see and hear. These can be a very dangerous items, not for playing with. Be absolutely sure because you may be inviting unwanted guests into your life.

Hi there. I am 36 and have been there and done that when i was a little older than you, and wouldn't ever step foot there again. I would say a definite no, as the evil you bring along with it you wont get rid of and they can be very persuasive. Its like opening a door waking through it and not closing it behind you. Well that all depends are you looking at a Parker brother board or something hand made by someone else. if it is hand made than i would say no unless you truly know the person who made the board, and you know haw to protect yourself while using it. I would advise that you do not use it alone at all ever. And hit a couple websites that talk about them and really know what you are getting yourself into.

you should really wait untill you are an adult to get and/or use a ouija board..

You have to be very carefull and play it safe, no matter what age you are with them..

and certain spirits tend to attach themselves to teenage girls for some odd reason..they are called "poltergeists"..do a google search on them to understand what I am talking about..

some people will say this is crazy, but some people do not accept or want to believe the unexplainable things in our world..

when you ask it questions, and get an answer..you are contacting spirits..that is what makes it work..the board itself just doesnt work alone..

I am 13 years old too and I am thinking that if you ar adventurous enough, you should go for it. But if you are not and don't want to have nightmares, then don't. When my friend's brother told me about something that happened on a Ouija board and I was freaked out! You should go for it if you really want to ask the dead something!
