You are correct, sir.

Have you thought about Muslims' subjugation of women? Do you agree to be beaten if your head is not covered, that you are not fit to have an education, that you are at fault if you are raped, that public stoning is a proper punishment, that you cannot work outside the house, that any man is better than any woman?
These beliefs run contrary to peaceful living in modern society.

You're not wrong, but Muslim terrorists have the best results and produce the most headlines. I am willing to bet that if all 19 9/11 hijackers were Italian (no offense, really!), there would be a serious re-evaluation of Italian-American relations as well.

Regardless, terrorists who conduct activities in the name of islam have been more prevalent than any other form of trans-state terrorism over the past few decades. What's even more problematic is the fact that a lot of people use Arab and Muslim interchangably, thus making other, nationalist terrorists seem like part of the same phenomenon as jihadists like Hizbullah and anarchists like Al Qaeda (who wouldn't know an Islamic text if it bit them in the ***!).

So I just read the rest of your question/statement: Grow up! President Bush and the American government has nothing to do with the issues, and you negate your whole premise by deflecting your argument to that. Seriously, stay focused and don;t waste our time.

When was the last time you sat down and spoke with Muslims? If you read the questions here enough, you will see several a day that ask why Christians think they are all like the terrorists. They then go on to condemn their actions and say that they aren't following Islam. I think most Muslims in the US don't like terrorism and condemn it, but aren't heard, because it isn't news worthy. Look at the Westboro Baptist Church. They are only around 30 people claiming that God is actively destroying the USA because he hates Gays. CRAZY people, yet they get a bunch of press, and you rarely see Christians on TV proclaiming them anti biblical. That is because it is boring, and more people will watch the Gay bashers on the news. The same applies to Muslims in the US.

I am unable to agree with you because your question is incomprehensible!

Quite a few terrorist acts since the late 1960s (pretty much starting after the Six Days War), maybe even the majority of them have been committed by Muslims. (I'd have to count, there were so many non-Muslim terrorist groups blowing things up in the '60s, '70s and '80s). They do not necessarily share ideologies with most other Muslims on the planet, and indeed the ideologies of the terrorists are very different (some are "freedom fighters" against occupation, some are instruments of government - like the Janjaweed - some are revolutionaries, some are jihadists and some are involved in sectarian conflicts). Americans tend to simplify matters because they relate only to what happened on their soil, and never bothered to examine the cause and effect of terrorism elsewhere. Every Israeli knows the ideological difference between a member of Al Qaeda and a member of Islamic Jihad. The majority of Americans are not that terribly au fait with international news or politics because there has always been a much bigger emphasis on local and national news in the U.S. media. Another fault that lies at the door of the U.S. media is when Muslims do speak out against terrorist acts, which they do regularly and vociferously, they get no column space or air time in the U.S.

The only way we have a prayer of defeating terrorism is to examine and comprehend it. Also, sadly, to experience it more than once or twice. Ask somebody in Israel or the UK or Sri Lanka about terrorism. They know the beast because these countries have faced it on a regular basis for several decades.

I, for one, have never equated Islam itself with terrorism, because I have encountered so many Muslims in my life, my work, my travels, and I include Muslims among my friends. 9/11 was as much a shock to me as anybody (I knew 3 of the victims of that tragic day personally), but I know that the people behind this vicious attack were not representative of all Muslims. I am also acutely aware, having lived in the UK for 20+ years, that there are non-Muslim terrorists. I almost lost my husband, ironically a pro-Irish Catholic, to an IRA bomb in 1996. Terrorists (all of them) do not much care who they kill - people of the same religion and even innocent children are fair game to them. Do they scare me? I guess someone who would kill a child without an afterthought does scare me, yes.

What's more, President Bush knows it, too. You may not believe this, but it's true. Bush is a friend to the Muslim people, despite the big mistake in Iraq. He had a notion that getting rid of Saddam Hussein (who was a pig) would solve problems in Iraq. And as badly as things are going in Iraq now, remember always how many Muslim women and children and innocent men Saddam killed, tortured and persecuted for 3 decades before.

Not all muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are muslim.

Maybe if your religious "leaders" came out and spoke openly - OFTEN about the criminal elements that is NOT Islam, then we might believe you.

But when a cartoon is published with the Muhammad with a bomb in his turbin, then the entire Muslim world comes unglued!

Yet, when Jesus is trashed in the Muslim world Christians don't become all violent, do they?

The Pope speaks of love and peace.

Angry Imans speak of hatred and violence in the madrassa's.

The Muslim world places women as property with death administered for small indescretions.

I realize that not all countries are so fundamentalist, but the ones that are are exporting their vile hatred and violence to more and more countries.

Call Bush a liar, but what do you say about the the fact that Muhammad says it's ok to lie to a non-beliver (infidel) or that the life of an infidel is worth less that the life of a Muslim?

Or that a Infidel must be a slave or pay taxes to the Muslim?

Your religion is FULL of ironies - you call for peace but wage war against anyone who doesn't think like you.

In the 19th century, they called the Nazi's, Klansmen, Skinheads, Stalinists, Maoists, etc.

So take off those rose colored glasses - YOUR RELIGION IS ATTACKING PEOPLE WITH BOMBS!

99% of the terrorists today are Muslim.

Depending upon which poll you look at, 30-50% of all Muslims feel terrorism is an acceptable way of defending the faith. Using the lowest figure of 30% and assuming the population of Muslims is 1.2 Billion, that means 400,000,000 million Muslims do not have a problem with terrorism. If they do not have a problem with it, they clearly are not fighting it.

From a more general view, so far we have had a book, movie, cartoon, beauty pageant and quote by the pope that they felt justified them rioting in the streets, burning down of churches, killing of a nun, murder of a movie maker and burning down embassies. Keep in mind, this is not terrorists, this is just the average Muslim doing these things.

Or from another point of view.

"All it takes for evil to survive is for the good people to do nothing. " Talmud.

It definitely appears there are a lot of good Muslims out there doing nothing, and evil is not only surviving, it is growing.

So if the world is cautious of Muslims, it is understandable. And if you have not noticed, not one nation in the world has said any MUSLIM nation should be wiped from the face of the earth.

Because bad news are reaching many countries in shorter time.
Remember birds flue? It was the same as first year after 9/11.

The news may create a common fear, because there are less and less programs which may show the other part of the story.

Anyway, people will get use to terrorist attacks like they are already showing. Knows anybody how many died today in Iraq?
I think we are not interested anymore, it will be like Palestine and Ireland and Lebanon and ETA all over again.

I don't see any buddhists blowing themselves up to kill innocent civilians, including children. I also don't see any Christians committing terrorists acts. I don't even see the Jews blowing anyone up. What I do see is very few moderate muslims standing up against the wacko muslims that are causing all the problems. Is that because you are scared of them or because you secretly believe in their cause? Look at all the things mankind has achieved in the past 100 years and tell me how many of these achievements can be claimed by a muslim. Now look at Jews and Christians and all that they have achieved. Why would anyone be a Muslim. I'm not religious at all but if I had to pick a religion it certainly would not be yours.

It is probably because Muslims have a strange habit of blowing innocent people up. If they are not the ones that blow people up, they are sitting in the background and letting it happen/sympathizing with the terrorists. Has anyone heard cries against terrorism from top Muslim leaders? They are strangely quiet. Religion of peace? What a joke. It is a religion that breeds murderers and terrorists.

It wasn't anyone but radical Muslims which were responsible for 9-11 and the hundreds of lives lost.
I also guess you think that's why our tax dollars are in the billions and we haven't made one dime on this precious oil as you say. That is also why we have such an overflow of oil that we are paying $3.00 a gallon for it. No all Muslims are not terrorist, but why don;t you verbally attack those radical fool Muslims that want to destroy our country.

This is almost word for word what the Terrorist websites say to their followers to post on the American Internet sites.

Additional: The two questions on the account you just opened fits the profile of what I describe above.
