Earlier today, she looked "dizzy" and wasn't swimming straight. Now she is laying on the bottom, trying to swim up, but flips back on the ground.

Can I cure it?

That's a quite serious swim bladder disfunction and it has progressed pretty quickly. To be honest I wouldn't expect that the fish could be saved. Sorry.

Probably not, freshwater fish are pretty much done when they start acting like that. If you have other fish its a really bad idea to add stuff to the tank to make it better, because it will ultimately stress out the other fish and cause to make them sick also.

it must be a parasite....or a bacterial infection that is not visible


you can cure it by applying light amount of salt on the water

i teaspoon per gallon

I'm guessing this is your fish? what kind is it? try changing her water.. or take her to a vet.

taking her to the vet would probably be the best thing.
