My car was driving fine. There was no brake light or anything. When I arrived at work i went to park and the brakes lost they're resistence and the pedel hit the floor. Thankfully it was the curb that stopped my car. Could it be just as easy as it needing brake fluid?

Check All Of Your Brake Lines And Your Master Cylinder But No About The Whole Brake Fluid Thing Because Without Brake Fluid It Would Just Be Really Hard To Push

It sounds as though you are losing brake fluid. Probably from a leak somewhere between the master cylinder and one of the wheel cylinders. Do not drive this car until you have replaced any missing brake fluid, and doing a brake bleeding at each wheel and refilling the master cylinder until it holds a constant level.

Sounds like one of your brake hoses or brake lines let go, check to see if theres any brake fluid in reservoir. If its empty you can add some than have someone look under car as you press down on the brakes, (do not start car, you may run someone over), you should be able to spot leak if it has one. You should just have it towed to a shop, and get a estimate for needed repairs, Always get a written estimate!

First check the level of brake fluid in the Master Cylinder. If there is no sign of brake fluid, then there should be some evidence of it on the ground. Raise the vehicle & place on jack stands & investigate the source of the leak. If the Master Cylinder is full, then replace it.

If the brake fluid reservoir shows nearly full, then you need a new "master brake cylinder". This assumes you didn't just have brake work done where they had to bleed the brakes.

Well, in all newer cars, the master cylinder is split into two reservoirs inside...if one went dry, your pedal would go down, certainly, but should still have half the brakes.

So, if it has fluid in it, the master cylinder itself may be "bypassing", which would account for the pedal going all the way to the floor without stopping the car...definitely have it checked out immediately...
