You need to speak to the landlord or manager of your community. If they have not rented your apartment to someone else, and you have been a good resident, they will most likely be happy to have you stay. Talk to them as soon as possible though, so you can see if you still have that option.

Not without the permission of the rental company/person. Notice from you is the same as a notice from the company. The other people have to abide by the contract. If they let you stay be sure to get it inwriting.

At my apartments, if you sign your 60 day notice, then decide to change our mind after 30 days you have to repay your deposit....
