Nerang, I think. Not actually in Brisbane. Inland from the Gold Coast, maybe 60 km south west of Brisbane.

Nerang on the Gold Coast. It is about 60KM's from Brisbane it is quite a bustling place now
I used to live there when I was a kid and there was only one shopping centre!
