Maybe you can do both - if there are any colleges or universities within your commuting distance, you can apply for a job there - colleges are big businesses, and they hire all sorts of workers at all skill levels from maintenance workers, clerical staff, all the way up. Full-time employees get tuition reimbursement to take courses towards a degree, so you can get the best of both worlds.

good luck!

go to college, seriously. if you really can't afford it then apply for financial aid. If you don't have the grades, well then that's your fault. You really want do grunt work for the rest of your life??
