In general, this can be summed up with the "Rule of Three's"
.
You can live three minutes without air, three hours without heat or shelter, three days without water, and three weeks without food.

Both depend on climate or weather. In a warm climate, humans can live thier normal life span without shelter. I'm not sure about without water, but it would be shorter in a hot desert than in a cool forest. Maybe 3 days vs 5-6 days.

without water - 3 days, without shelter _ 60 years (ancestors lived without shelter but they lived very well) . ^_^
