You can't trick a cadaver dog so they lose the trail. I've trained cadaver dogs for certification for years. They don't follow trails unless it's a blood trail. They search by scent and can discern between a dead animal and a dead human. They can even tell if you pooped in the woods.

OK, I'm confused once again.
I don't know if you're talking about dogs that track cadavers or dogs that are cadavers. It would be two totally different methods.
