I have seen a site called Sologig (www.sologig.com) where you can find either regular jobs or work-at-home/freelance jobs, incuding sales in just about anything you can imagine. They list jobs nationwide as well as overseas, and many listings offer online application forms at either their website or at sologig.. They are affiliated with www.careerbuilder.com, as well as three or four others with similar listings (most give the name of the company, their phone/email, the job description, pay per hour, etc). Check them out !! You have to register, but they also will send you new listings, etc. by email.

Don't know where you are, so I can't tell you specifically where to go, but your best course of action would be to go to the mall, central shopping district, or wherever the retail stores are, go in, ask for an application, and fill one out. You have some work history, so you should be able to get a position, depending on what they have available.
