A pony and a goat. I almost got the goat we brought it home but it was to young and kept crying and crying. So we took it back so it could grow a little more with it's mom and the owner called and told me that another possible buyer came by and wanted the goat right away. I said ok thinking that I could just get one of the siblings but two weeks later all the goats were bought.

A space of my own.
I come from a family of ten, and we had a two bedroom house. The 5 boys slept in one of the the bedrooms, and Mum and Dad had the other, my eldest sister and I slept on the divan in the lounge, and the baby in a cot in Mum and Dad's room. When I was sixteen, my Dad extended the house and the girls had a bedroom together.
Went straight from home to marriage with my husband of 22 years, have a family of six, and still haven't ever had a space of my own.
Mind you if I had to give up the closeness of my family (not just literally) to have had the space, I'd have wanted to leave things as they were. But you can dream.

I seem to remember I went through a phase where I really wanted a rabbit - but I never got one, and eventually I was talked out of the idea.

A loving, caring, compassionate father who was totally present when we were together.
Actually now that I think of it...the same kind of mother would have be nice too.
