my friend doesnt know english and she wants to improve her english how can she? thanks xx

try to teach her as much as you can starting with the everyday basic lines like how are you and have a good day! if there are english classes available then let her go to them. my english was not good either so i can tell u an extremely honest way of learning english. make her see english movies first with subtitles and then w/o them and try some books. also try to communicate with her in english most of the time.

Ask her to watch NEWS channels, and ask her to watch carefully how to pronounce every word, and how they use the grammar i mean the past, present, future tense etc.
News are the best way to improve your english, its like almost getting teached by someone. But ask her to pronounce by herself of what they speak.
Ask her to watch movies with subtitles on. This will give her idea of what words are spoken in what manner.
