WOW.....what a dilemma! Greens is on the southwest corner of 10 Mile and Orchard Lake in Farmington. You can't miss the ol' Porcelain Palace as you near it!

All of them are pretty darn good, but I am partial to Green's. They are in a class with Bates and Brays. With a good buzz going, you may not even be able to tell the difference. White Castle's are great, too, but just a different kind of burger.

My stops back to the ol' stomping grounds always include visits to White Castle at Ford Road and 275 on the way to Mom's from the airport and a couple late night stints at Greens!

Not sure if there is a better way to order them, the onions, grease and most buns are done to perfection!

Enjoy.....and send some to Cali for me!!!

Green's is at 10 mile and Orchard Lk Rd in Farmington. They are definately the best in my opinion. Bate's, I have always thought were a cheap tasting 2nd. It's all in the grill. Plus Green's (open inside 24 /7) is a great place to go after no matter how much alcohol! It's also great for breakfast and the Free Press after a hard night. This location goes back to the 50's and litterally they taste the same after all these years. There are many great burger joints in Metro Detroit (Miller's-Cowley's-Downtown near the stadiums,etc..) but I believe Green's is the best!!

Im not from the Detroit area but Ive been to Greens and theyre just ok. My fiance is from Farmington Hills and everytime we go there to visit he has to eat there like every other day. I prefer White Castles myself. The Greens in Farmington is at 10 Mile and Orchard Lake Road believe. And I think they are overpriced at Greens.

I have never heard of Greens. White Castle is every where in the Chicago area including frozen at many supermarkets.

Brays is the best by far, with white castle second.

You need to add a few East side locations to your list:

Geneva's on Harper near Cadieux (not the best neighborhood) and also try Travis at 9 Mile & Mack Ave in St, Clair Shores.

Great sliders at both spots.
