My sister thinks that it's not a meal, but I've had it for dinner many times before~~i usually get the 32 oz and it fills me up, and aren't they also considered meal supplements?
please help~ thanks

It doesnt have the nutritional value of a meal, however I think it could be a meal supplement. Its not something I would start a habit of, but if you know you are going to have a late dinner I think it would be okay to have on between meals.

well, in terms of calories, yes . . . smoothies typically range anywhere from 100 to 500 calories (300/350 is about average) . . . and you are getting a larger size, meaning there are more calories.

however, in terms of nutrition - you may be getting lots of vitamins from the fruits/juices, but you are only getting one kind of energy: carbohydrates . . . typically, meal replacement bars or shakes are formulated to have the ideal proportions of carbohydrates (45-65%), protein (10-35%), and fat (20-35%).

They are not meal supplements. Just because they fill you up don't make them a nutritious meal

People have different concepts of what dinner is. Families usually have a big dinner. Single people can eat whatever they want for dinner. I had a DQ blizzard. It was goood.
