I would say, "you're sounding more Republican than any
of your opponents and I like that".
A person can change their mind. We all have many, many
times. A flip-flop is a person that keeps changing back and
forth and back and forth in a short period of time. Romney
has not done that. He just finally saw the "light" regarding
abortions, and that is that abortions in America are immoral.
