I have many, many memories from an early age - can't possibly say which was the first - but at about 3 years of age, taking my new red covered notebook to nursery and proudly wanting to show it to my friends. It must have been a time when we'd been asked to sit without speaking, cos I got told off by the teacher and I found that very humiliating - even at THAT age we have our dignity.

My earliest clear memories are of being in hospital when I was 4 1/2 years old. I used to say I can remember seeing my brother as a newborn when I was not yet 3, but I don't think I really remember that.

When I was living in Germany 1997. I was 5 years old. I was in preschool. A teacher would take one student to the nearby market after getting the parents' permission to pick out a cereal for snack time. I got to go with one teacher when she asked my dad. I don't remember which cereal it was. But I remember being the market with my teacher and my little shopping cart.

I can clearly remember lying in a cot looking at the ceiling, my head rolled to the right and i remember seeing another baby in the cot next to me. I know this is not an implanted memory as i`ve always had it..... How weird is that

I have scattered memories of sleeping in a crib in my sister's room while my mom slept on the floor. I made her really angry when I kept waking her up because I was a noisy breather.
My dad is 50, and he remembers when he was a baby, he couldn't fall asleep in his crib without holding on to his mother's finger. I thought that was sweet.

I remeber being about 2 years old, and my mum and dad putting me on rupert the bears knee at the villlage show, I was absolutely terrified and screamed like mad, since then i've always had a strong fear of people who dress up in animal costumes.

I remember trying to open a screen door at about three, and it slammed my finger. I remember it was sooo painful, and I cried a long time.
I wonder why painful stuff sticks around in your memory so well?

I was about 2 and my family was in Mexico and my aunt was ironing in the living room and I went up to the iron and touched it. That's all I remember, my mom says I got blisters on my hand and she was really mad at everyone and wanted to go home.

I can remember when I was a baby, I fell and split my head open near my eyebrow and they had to rush me to get stitches. I can still remember the entire scenario.
