Well I live in College Station and I'm an Aggie (`93) who went to the spring game and I can tell you this, if the Ag's don't win the Big 12 this year, it will be a FAILURE! McGee has improved so much it's not fair! Lane is still the power runner he always was and you're right, Wallace is friggin' awesome!
And to Austin-are you STILL upset about getting it handed to you last November? at home? Well you'd better get used to it 'cause until McCoy graduates, expect the same results. Good luck in the Alamo Bowl next year tea-sipper!
Oh and, this is NOT the Jim Rome Show! Just because he'll never let you on the air, don't think you can win a smack-off on Yahoo Answers!

It will be the same old aggie football year. Ya'll will win some and ya'll will lose some. You'll probably get a bowl game, but I wouldn't count on anything special happening. Except for maybe your runningback contending for the Heisman. Go Longhorns! War Donavan McNabb getting hurt (again) this year and letting Kevin Kolb take the reigns of the Eagles! I'm out.
Well Scottie, No I'm not upset. I'm more a Houston Cougar fan being as how I went there. And if there is a Texas team who is playing in a big game, I will always root for the Texas team. No matter if it's the cougars, longhorns, aggies, etc. But I will admit, picking on all you aggies sure is fun.

They are going to be really good, but the schedule doesn't bode well for them. You have a great chance of making it two in a row against Texas, but you have to come into Norman. If OU beats Texass, we'll have the straight shot to the Big XII championship. If A&M only has one loss though, they could have a great shot at a BCS bowl.

Look at the last six game please:
@Texas Tech
@ Nebraska
Kansas @ A&M
@Oklahoma
@Missouri
Texas @ A&M
Yes, y'all had a good year last year. BUT, do the Aggies have the commitment? Texas Tech always finds a way to beat you like a red headed step child when y'all play on their turf. Y'all don't hate them, but they hate you. Nebraksa is going to be good, as they played OU for the Big 12 Championship last year, and you play on their turf, another hard game, Texas almost lost because of playing on their turf. Kansas State, easy game, y'all've got it won. Oklahoma, another hard game, hard team and on their turf, can you live up to the hype? Let's see. Missouri is good also, you can possibly beat them though, but they are not to be taken lightly. Texas, possibly another National Championship will be in their hands, as long as there are no injuries. Y'all got lucky last year, if Colt didn't get hurt, then y'all might've been in trouble. But Texas is hard, but yet again, we are both rivals, now aren't we? I talk trash about A&M, and you talk trash about my team, so it'll be a very good game. Y'all have the home field advantage this year, good luck though.
With that said, look over that, and decide, it's a hard schedule, and if everything goes well you can either go:
3-5, 7-5 If a bad year.
5-3, 9-3 If you loose against the big boys.
But my guess if this:
6-2, 10-2. You will loose against Texas and OU and if you don't keep your head up, it'll end up 5-3, 9-3, because Texas Tech hates y'all, so you could lose it big on their turf.
Hope it answers your question. No Aggies don't suck, but it's a good rivalry for me. Go Texas.

I think they have a great chance to surprise some teams. The only hard part is their road schedule. They have to go to Miami, Tex Tech, Neb, Oklahoma, Mizzou. They have an opportunity to beat an inexperienced Miami team which would give them great momentum early in the year.
Realistically they can go 6-1 at home and possibly 3-2 on the road and it will be a successful year.

UT will of course be the favorite to win the Big 12 south. A& M could very well win the big 12 south and maybe even the Big 12.
