Yes, all tanks that are sold for pets are water tight.

Unless the corner seals were damaged, it should be able to hold water. Fill it up outside to give it a good cleaning (no soap, only warm water and a little bleach) so any urates from the snake are removed and rinse it thoroughly. You can let the water from one of the rinses stand for a while to see if you get any leaking.

Hello..am not sure your meaning ..but NOT IF THE SNAKE is still in it..and if the snake isn't & your wanting to make it an aquarium....fill it with water & see if it leaks...if it does..then it has to dry out & be resealed with pet safe clear silicone, it'll say it's safe for aquariums, etc on the label, available @ pet stores who sell fish or any hardware store ( Lowe's etc ) or Wal Marts...Take Care :)

Is it a regular rectangular glass tank with black framing? If so then it should work.

Depends, if it is a proper aquarium, or not, you could give it a try as long as you prepare for a leak

try it, if it leaks, then no you cant :) I am assuming the snake will not be in there anymore right?
