how can i transfer some movie footage which i have on TiVo to my school computer account for a project?

like i recorded this scene from a movie that I'm putting on a powerpoint that I need to do for school but how can I transfer the scene from my tv to my home computer because then I can send it to my school account?

Have you tried "Tivo to go"?

you need a screen capture video card ( dazzle)
or
you must capture it in tv's internet broadcast
