The distance is about 385000km you could walk that distance in a little under 9 years at a constant 5kph. That's continuous walking with no sleep!

To actually walk to the moon is patently impossible.

Walking in the air, and if I could breath outside of the Earths atmosphere, walking at the average speed of 3 miles per hour, it would take about 79,617 hours, or about 3,317 days, or about 9 years, by then there just might be trips to it, so I think I will wait for them.

Assuming you could, the average walking speed of a human is about 4 miles an hour. So at a distance of approximately 240,000 miles it would take 60,000 hours or 357 weeks or 6.8 years.
But you couldn't do it for all kinds of reasons - no air, no food or water (and no gas stations along the way to pick up a Coke and bag of chips or hit the washroom), a lot of other problems.

just a little walk to any old church that's near by .. then I'd say a little pray and God/Bob -whoever the mighty one working in the shift- was there would give me steps longer than life itself and I'd be there in no time ... so, if they do they do their job properly, it would take me about 10 minutes
