exp(i*theta)=cos theta +i sin theta
so sin theta =0 and theta = k*pi
cos theta= 0.5 so theta = pi/3+2kpi and -pi/3+2k*pi
There are NO coincident values for theta. So the answer is never

It can't.

Assuming that this is a complex number question

Just changing theta to x to make it easier to read

exp(ix) = cos x + i sin x and you can't have cos x = 0.5 at the same time that sin x = 0. There has to be an imaginary part as well

Natural log both sides to get i*theta=-ln2.
Divide by i to get theta=-ln2/i.
