I was worrying about something I can't change and was obsessed a lot but someone told me "why worry? it doesn't pay?" and it helped me to be possitive.
Have you ever been told nice things (especially to be positive thinking)?

Worrying is a type of thinking. Worrying is a pointless endeavour. Worrying doesn't change what will happen. Worrying doesn't change what already happened. Worrying is a way to stress ourselves out beyond belief.

To worry is to avoid being happy.

yeah, once this guy said to me, " life is a game that you have to go through wearing one of these" (smile on his face). I stopped and thought about it, it was true at the time but I dont remember it really stopped me worrying.
Someone else once told me how great I was and that I was a beautiful and special person. That works.

It often helps for me to hear two things:
"What's the worst that could happen?"
and
"Can you put this worry into perspective?"
