I just love the old movies anywhere from the 30s to 60s. I think they're great. I just don't think today's movies can compare to them. I also think the actors and actresses were great and the women had such style and beauty that doesn't seem to be there today. What do you think?

I love old movies too.

I love the old noirs and pretty much anything with Bogart in it. I even like "silent" movies. That was my area of study in college, so I have had the opportunity to see a lot of great oldies.

Yes i agree with you. I love old movies! I especially like those from the 30s to the late 40s.

The ladies were so beautiful and elegant and the dialogue and the way that they speak it is much more artistic then that of the films of today.

I prefer the black and white toned films to the coloured ones. Some favourites:

Maltese Falcon
Wuthering Heights
42nd Street
Sorry, Wrong Number
Waterloo Bridge
Citizen Kane

laurence Olivier, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Vivien Leigh, Lauren Bacall, Barbara Stanwyck are all favourite actors/actresses of mine

Movies from yesteryears are better than the movies being made now. You are right there are no comparison in style and beauty. A lot of people are accustomed to today's modern movie script s. But, they do not know that most of the movies now are remakes of old films be it in part or whole.

I think you hit the nail on the button (old expression). Some of my favorites are Casablanca, High Noon, Gilda, Psycho, Gone With The Wind, The Wild Ones, Rebel Without a Cause and many, many more.

I know....I love old movies. However, there are still some movies that have been made more recently (like the Mel Brooks movies) that I love as well.

I've been meaning to ask: how's your baby girl?? Is that why you took a 3-week hiatus?? Or are you still pregnant? And was she Eva Grace?? Sorry to ask so many questions, just curious.
