It depends on a few other factors.
The value of the property.
If your eating their food.
The neighborhood, (known problems)
If the property is valued at under $500,000 and is insured in a good neighborhood, $150.00 a week. Without food, $75.00 a week.
In a bad neighborhood (high Crime rate) $200.00 per week, or $150.00 per week without food.
Add $50 a week for every $200.000
over the $500.000 value of the property.
If the property is uninsured add $50.00
a week.
If the property has a monitored security system subtract $20.00 per week.
If pool or spa maintenance, or other house cleaning other than cleaning up after yourself is required, add $35.00 a week. If cleaning up after the dog is necessary add $20.00 per week.
If you have to take a lot of phone messages add $10.00 per week.
If you have a gun license with authorization to use lethal force in the house to protect the property add 50.00 a week.
If you drink there booze, replace it.
Have fun! No wild parties dude.

My uncle leaves town a lot and I house sit on a pretty regular basis. I clean and care for the pool, check the mail and thoroughly clean the house, launder the bedding and remake the beds, water the plants etc.

He pays me 125 per week that he is gone. If I do not have pool duties than I get 90 per week.

I would say any were from 60 to 125 per wk depending on how much you are being asked to do.
Remember caring for an animal is a lot of work.
Good Luck.

The professionals would charge $140/week. The doesn't actually mean they have to sleep there, but they have to show up every day and walk the dog multiple times a day, pick up mail etc. It works out to $20 a day. As you aren't a bonded professional, I'd suggest a little less.

charge 100,000 dollars for the housesitting, and 50,000 dollars for the dog thing. You could make some serious cash that way.
