I am looking at this abit Mother board. Its RAM slots says it works with 800mhz. The RAM that I would like to buy for it works at 667mhz, would it be safe and ok if I did install this RAM with this Mother board?

P.S. The RAM is DDR2 so is the M.B.

You need 800 MHZ DDR2 memory.

Do not install the other memory.

Most retail motherboards support multiple RAM speeds. The Abit KN9 SLI supports 400, 533 and 667mhz as well. See details here:
