It sounds better on a boy but I would be careful to use any of the male names that are being used for girls now. There are so many mommeighs stealing boys names for girls - James, Ryan, Riley, Tyler there isnt much left for the boys!

I think it is a good name for either gender, completely appropriate for either. I would spell it Devon if I had a boy and Devin for a girl. But that is just my own personal preference. I think the "o" instead of "i" would help distinguish it as a boy version of the name.

Devin is traditionally a boys name but the TREND is to give girls boy names these days, hence it was listed as a boy/girl name. I think it is a fit name for a boy.

I like it for either, it's kinda edgy for a girl so I like that better.
I think Devin is a good strong name either way :) I have a friend named Devlin..which is very cute on a boy :)

It is much more of a boy's name!! Except spell it Devon, that is the masculine way!!
Or, since it really is both a boy and girl's name, you might want to consider something else. But I think it is cute!!

I love the name Devin and I think it sounds great for a boy or a girl. I like it best spelled Devon (pronounced the same) for a girl. Devo for short!
