On an old gas stove, about 35 years old, it has pilot lights.

Made by G.E.

If that pilot light goes out, will the gas automatically shut off.

I don't know if all old gas stoves will do that, or were there ever any that weren't made that way and the gas will just keep running.

Hi, my stove is about 48 years old. It's pilot light always goes out, and the gas stops. Call the Gas Company, they will be glad to come out and check it for you at no charge.Bye
