the guy that saves the season for the Yankees...you know the Hero that came to help NY when the season was almost lost. Any one agrees? Do you think at the end of the season, he will be that guy, cause I doubt it that one guy can save a season.

No, he cannot save the season but he can bolster their hopes and chances for the post-season but I also believe he is only one piece of the puzzle and there will have to be a major trade for them if they can win it all. Their bullpen is old and some of their players are aging and a trade is necessary to strengthen a weakening bullpen.

At one time Mr Roger C was with Boston Red Sox's and Boston media called him the Rocket. Somehow he started losing games and Boston Red Sox's fans and the media started on him they traded him to Toronto. From Toronto he came to the Yankees and he was not the same dominant Ace as he was with the Red Socks and Toronto. The Yankees pay him very well and it is the dream of every player to be with a winning team and a big contract. The Yanks are the most expensive team in Baseball. Later he said I will retire and change his mind and follow Andy Petite to Texas, Andy is back with the Yankee's and Roger may follow him. Why? ups. No!!! If Roger C do his job in winning he will be never the bad guy. Us Yankees fan love to win if we loose a game it must be a god game.

i imagine he's. He broke the record and to proper now is the genuinely human being who isn't suspected to have used steroids to break 60 hrs. i'm no longer affirming the others did yet some human beings do suspect them of taking hgh and different body construction supplementations. yet Roger also went by plenty and he helped the Yankees to a international series win and that i evaluate him a real Yankee because he did that and he were given the hoop. He replaced into overshadowed on the time through 2 large Yankees Mantle and Berra and that i imagine that took faraway from his stardom yet he nonetheless replaced right into a real Yankee.

He really didn't have much of a choice. The Astros are going no where this year. The Red Sox have one of the best rotations. Jon Lester should be ready to go soon to fill in that fifth spot in the rotation so they were not in dire need of pitching. The Yankees needed him bad and were probably hounding him 10 times a day. Their pitching is awful and he will help but will not save their season.

Ya he knew the Astros had no shot and the Red Sox were too good already. Its gonna backfire big time though as he is gonna get rocked in the A.L. Not only do Sox fans have the Yankees free fall to cheer about but now we can cheer on the fact that Clemens is gonna tarnish his entire career....what a dope.

Well in my opinion, its a lift up for the Yankees. With Roger on the team, it will boost other players and they will all do well. Not just having Roger take it on his back himself. They will all feel the hype of it all and try their best too. Yanks gonna kick some butt so WATCH OUT ya all!!!!!

Not sure why he made that statement. He knew a long time ago that he was going to NY or retire. He hinted so manny times in the past.

Um, they were doing fine without him. They're 14 - 15, not 2 bad. Not great, but not 2 bad.
