popcorn, soda and give it my full attention--at least initially.
if it is worth me continuing to watch, i do so. if not, i watch it while doing something else (cleaning, ironing, etc.) or i just turn it off and go to something else (like i did earlier today with Smallville's noir episode).

Have someone to snuggle with and eat popcorn or icecream, depending on the movie.
Action / horror / thriller ect... popcorn
Weepy / chick flick ect.... ice cream.
