OK, listen. Check it butt and see if there is manure or any constipation. If there is wipe it with wet towelette or wipe-up/baby wipe. or wet rag. Until there is no manure left, dried to it's bottom. Is there any hair loss? Whether there is or not, check it's skin for dandruff, lice, mites, Nat, fleas. If there is check the skin for dried out places or infections, or fungi growing. If there is you can run down to the store and get some Equate. Or any anti fungal product. (ones for humans) Generic brands would work too!
If you have a syringe (like what you give shots with) take the needle out of it, blend up some apples, carrots, (fruit or veggies that he like to eat usually) blend it up into a liquidity form (if it thick, that fine it's probably better) and syringe feed him. Stick it in his mouth and VERY SLOWLY squeeze the food in. do a very little amount then stop, give it a few seconds then do it again. If he's not swallowing, stop. He'll have to go to a vet office if none of that works. Sorry, just comfort your' daughter, too!

I'm afraid any professional who is online would tell you what I'm about to - which is we can't possibly offer treatment without seeing the animal. It just isn't possibe I'm afraid.

Do find a cheaper vet! $90-$125 just to see an animal, especially a small furry, is the most ridiculous thing. My surgery charges £11.33 to see a guinea pig!

Start phoning around to find a cheaper vets - guinea pigs, like rabbits, go downhill fast when they're not eating. The only thing that can really be suggested is that you try blending up some vegetables with water and feeding it to the piggy using a syringe preferably to get it in her mouth - if you have anything like an eye dropper or kitten feeder this would also work. This will help keep the piggy going until you can find a vet. Oh - adding pineapple juice to the mix can help them poo.

well, you can explain about Guinea pig heaven, and replace it! Guinea pigs don't generally live for a long time. Sometimes Your local Pet shelter may can help with expensies. Here, where I live they have vouchers good once a year of $50 twords the vet bill. Hope this helps.

IM sorry, when a guinea pig has gone that long without veterinary treatment, it has irresponsible owner. When a guinea pig is in that state, it will DIE SOON. Sorry, but you are too late.just leave the pig alone and give it loads of food. Stressing it out will make it worse.

Your pet is very sick. If you can not afford a vet you can not afford a pet. Call around, find a vet that is more in your price range and take it in. It costs me $45 or so to get my ferrets looked at. If you can not do that then take it to a local rescue and allow the animal to get the proper care it needs.
