i went to a walgreens last week sometime, and as i was walking out the front door i found a green, kingston 2 gb usb disk. it has historical files and copies on it. from 1830s.

it just has a lot of info that someone probably spent a lot of time getting, and i dont want to just delete it.

You'll never find the originator. If there is a Microsoft Word file on there, then you can call microsoft and they will be able to get you the information on who has that serial licensed.

Then...you can maybe find them, but that's still such a long shot that I stand behind the fact that you'll never find the person. Format it and enjoy your new 2GB flash drive.

There is no Rondava Drive in, or near Knoxville, TN. There is a Rendava Lane, and for address 5151 there, the zip is 37921 .

Just for good measures, why don't you transfer the files to a cd before you use it. Perhaps the person hasn't realized it yet, and if it was mine, I'd probably be forever grateful that you saved these files. It's not like you need the disk or anything.

You can also try posting in your local newspaper's classified ads. Its usually free to post items that you've found. Who knows, maybe you'll even get a reward.

wow, hope you find who it belongs to.

i recently found an ipod, luckily it had info on the calender about stuff and we found the place where they were and gave it back to them.
