You can't mess with a classic ...it will not be as good as the original....sure all the color, language, and sets will be updated but nothing compares to originals.....love the Halloween series, except the ones with the little girl I didn't care for thise very much

i'm pretty sure i will go and see it--but i feel the original was a classic.
the original was actually pretty well written (yes, i said it) and had a great actor. no, i'm not talking about Curtis--tho i do love looking at her.
sometimes the presence of an actor makes the material seem a cut above. Donald Pleasence did that for me. i like watching actors with real "cred" taking on material such as this. if you can believe them in something like this, it really shows how good they are.

It's not a plan, it's done. I 've seen the trailer in the theatres so it should be out soon. The good news is that it looks pretty good. It's done by Rob Zombie.

Why can't they leave these classics alone they only end up making a sub standard rehash, the fog, the amityvil horror, the wicker man, i could go on.

Rob Zombie (who made Devil's Rejects) has done a remake of halloween,i'll probably not watch it since his films are soooo bad!!!Crap acting,bad directing,no script etc...
