Merchants need the product, barcode, and is it true they also need a tax return??? Im confused as to what I need to prepare when I start taking my product into the stores.
Also, does the size of a barcode matter? Do the scanners pick up any size?
Any suggestions on how to approach merchants into carrying my product? Do I just walk in and ask to speak to the manager? I'm new to this and I dont know the procedure on doing this. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

With large store changes, you contact their purchasing department. Sometimes they will ask you to put their barcode on it.

I have an online store and might be interested in it. I don't care about the barcode, just if I can make a fair profit and it sells good. Not everything sells good online, send me an email with info about it and a way to contact you.

I don't believe YOU need to put the barcode - the stores have their own systems and put on their own labels and barcodes.

You could try to speak to the individual store manager to convince them to stock your product, or you could try to search out the main office (if it's a chain) and go higher up in the organization to find someone who could order your product for multiple stores, and try to contact them.
