I am a gentleman at all times, in spite of my past demeanor here. It's the way I was raised. I will hold the door for a woman, I will walk on the street side of the sidewalk. I will call them ma'am. Chivalry is not dead though it was dealt a near fatal blow by feminism. Many men have been so immasculated by women they are afraid to be men. And that is so wrong. I am a man, I will act as a man, I will be a man.

Women's liberation started the death of chivalry.

Woman say they can do everything men can.

They don't even need a father for their babys; a generation of boys are growing up thinking mommy IS daddy. There is no man there to teach these boys HOW to be a man.

Men are seen as useless and unnecessary by the girls being raised by single mommys, which will continue the pattern.

Women are bosses and supervisors in the workplace.

Men are shoved to the side....

"King Arthur and the Kinights of the Round Table" has been deemed politically incorrect, and instead school children are reading books called, "My mommy the plumber," and, "Stevie has two daddies."

A knight stepped up to take care of a damsel in distress. Hell, most of these women don't even wear dresses..

Well at the grocery store this morning a guy bumped into me and he kinda nodded when I looked at him I think he may have been acknowledging that he bumped me does that count? I do believe chivalry is dead. Maybe you should define the word just for those idiots out there who have no clue hate it when guys don't open doors for me is even worse when they give me the up and down.

Chivalry was the knights code of honor.

But do you think a knight would stop to help a middle-aged, sick mother of four cross the road?

No, it was only the beautiful princess. Ever wonder why?

Chivalry sucks when compared to equality.

Now, if you are talking about common manners and compassion, then i agree.

I don't think chivalry is dead at all. The guys where I work treat me like gold and a stranger helped me get my keys out of my car this morning.

Every time I think it has disappeared someone surprises me. I think there's hope yet.

Someone lifted down a 4X2ltr pack of water off a high shelf for me at the supermarket today without me asking.
Some answers I've had on my questions recently have surprised me in that way also.

Last week a gentleman waited and held the door for me when I was walking into a store. I have to admit I was stunned.
