I found out a few days ago that I am pregnant. I have had the classic symptoms; nausea, vomiting, tenderness, etc. Today, though, I woke up and the symptoms aren't as severe. Do the symptoms come and go, or should I be worried I may be having a miscarriage? Are you supposed to get morning sickness every single day, for instance, to the same degree, or is it okay that some days it is less than others? I have been eating smaller, more frequent meals and drinking ginger tea.

The only new "symptom" I have had is a very, VERY light vaginal discharge that is a dark brown color. (So light I am having a hard time calling it discharge.) Any ideas?

Every pregnancy is different. If you are worried about something, contact your doctor. I was sick every day, all day long for about the first 3 months. After that, certain smells would make me sick. I've known people to throw up at the exact same time every single day the entire pregnancy. Nothing is normal when it comes to having a baby. Always trust your instincts. If you think something might be wrong, don't hesitate to call a doctor or to go to the hospital. Congrats and good luck.

If you are concerned, contact your doctor. Not to scare you but with my first pregnancy I had slight brownish discharge off and on for a few weeks before I found out that I didn't actually have a viable pregnancy. I had a blighted ovum and my body was still experiencing the signs and symptoms of pregnancy, but there was nothing but an empty sac on my ultrasound when I finally realized I was miscarrying. Such spotty discharge can also be what is called implantation bleeding. It happens very early in pregnancy - I had this early on in my current pregnancy. Please don't hesitate to call your doctor if it will give you peace of mind.

I have very severe pregnancy symptoms early on but sometimes I would have a day with mild symptoms and once I had a day with NO symptoms at all. It was weird.

I've been pregnant 3 times and experienced this. I guess it's due to fluctuating hormone levels.

The only time you would need to worry is if your symptoms disappeared for several days and did not return....that might mean an impending miscarriage.

you're normal and enjoy those days that you don't have severe symptoms. also the discharge could be a little bit of implantation bleeding (when the embryo attaches to the uterine way there's sometimes a bit of blood). in terms of miscarriage, the only thing you'll notice is bleeding or severe, severe cramping. in that case - obviously go to your doctor or the ER.

Your symptoms can change slightly especially if you're closer to your 4th month. I am going to assume you are under 12 weeks. If you are concerned see your doctor. Unless you're luckier than most and your body has already adjusted to the pregnancy, you should still feel ill as you did yesterday. But again, check with your doctor.

you will have many diffrent symptoms while pregnat. I strongly suggest you get the book what to expect when expecting, it has been my bible for my pregnancies.

Your symptoms will be severe one day and you wont have any the next.. good luck
